How Well Do You Know Our Family? — quiz cards about your own family

A quiz to play round the holiday table, on New Year’s Eve or at a family reunion — and you write the questions: “Where did Mum and Dad meet?”, “What colour was Grandad’s first car?”, “Where was our first family holiday?” Each question goes on the front of its own card and its answer on the back; whoever draws the card reads the question, whoever knows turns it over. You write 10 to 60 questions and may give each one 1 to 5 stars as points; the stars are printed under the question. An opening card starts the deck: “How well do you know our family?”, your family’s name and the date, with the rules of the game on its back. We set every question and every answer on its own card at a readable size — a short question large, a long one smaller, but always readable. If a question is too long for its card we say so before you pay: which row it is, and how many characters fit. We never shrink a question until it cannot be read, and never cut it with “…”. A6 (10.5 × 14.8 cm) or A5 cards, printed both sides and cut: one card per question and an opening card. Twelve palettes; the answer side is the palette turned over, so in the hand you can see at a glance which side is the answer.
