Growing the tree…

The preview and the print are drawn by the same engine — the tree you see is the tree printed. The thumbprints are your guests’; the poster carries only the branches.

Thumbprint Guest Tree — your guests are the leaves

P By Punto

How many guests are you expecting?

Every guest leaves a thumbprint beside a twig. We size the crown to the number: a thumbprint is about 12 × 16 mm, and each guest gets three times that, so a name fits beside it and the prints do not run together.

Number of guests Between 10 and 300. Better a few too many — room left over on the day beats running out.

Oak A wide, spreading crown on a short, thick trunk Poplar Tall, narrow and upright; the branches reach up Willow A soft crown whose tips hang toward the ground
